Terms & Policies

Late Payments or Missed Payments
As a standard rule, any payments that are received later than the first of each term will incur a $25 charge on their account. Overdue payments will be forwarded to a collection agency if special arrangements have not been made.

Refunds:
When registering for music lessons, you are booking the instructor’s time. Unfortunately, there are no refunds should you wish to discontinue lessons. You must finish the Term you are in. If you registered for any of our packaged Terms, you must finish all of your lessons.

Student Absence / Sick Days & Make-Up Lessons

Private Lessons
Our standard policy for student absence (including sick days)

one make-up lesson every 3 Terms (12 Weeks) WITH 24 HOURS NOTICE

An appointment can be made to discuss any extenuating circumstances.

Band Lessons
There are no make-up band lessons. Due to the nature of the class, these lessons are on-going.

Teachers Absence
If a teacher is absent, a substitute teacher will be provided. If a substitute teacher is not available, we will re-schedule the lesson accordingly or credit your account.

Snow Days
School closure due to bad weather will be posted on our website. We will also update our voicemail greeting in the event of bad weather. Please call or check our website before coming to the lesson. We will re-schedule lessons or credit your account.

Holiday Schedule School closure
Our public holiday schedule will be included in your registration package and posted on the website. The school will not be open on these scheduled holidays. Should a student celebrate a religious holiday not shown on our schedule please inform us. We will re-schedule lessons or credit your account.
